Where does everyone get their gears done?

I am looking at getting my gears replaced and trying to find the best place. I have called a few places. The best I have found is Heartville 4x4.
250 Front
150 Rear
Labor
120
120
4 front and rear install kit
120
120
4 ring and pinion

Plus gear oil so parts and labor since I have the oil is about $880 with new bearings installed!

The gears I believe are some major brand but he stands behind them, and I have heard many good things about them..

This is for dana 44s
 
why is the front more? is that if you dont take apart the front axle?

That sounds like a very reasonable price.
 
the front is more work. you have to pull the wheel hubs off to pull the axle out. i guess.
i got my gears done there on both xj's. Lennie will hook you up.
 
There is a guy off of airport blvd, and ramblin rd in south congaree. Shops name is Kenny's. He is local, and just about the same price. He had my rear done in a couple of hours, and will work with you on price. 803-755-2010
 
I asked him if it would be cheaper if I pulled it apart, and he really didnt give me a answer. I think its $250 either way still a good deal I believe..
 
If one of you could send me a PM I would like to discuss an issue I am having with a ARB install (gear noise) I had done at WWOR. I don't want air dirty laundry when I am not 100% percent who's at fault.
