what to look out for

Personally I wouldn't buy an 07-11 with auto trans. I'd also find out why the rear axle was replaced...
 
yea I wondered about the axle also. Whats the deal about the auto trans. form 07-11 were there issues with them? I am here to learn.
 
For 07-11 its the combination of the weaker motor and the 42RLE. I've never actually driven one but the 42RLE in my jeep sucks so I imagine it's similar.
 
07-11 I would go for a 6 speed manual. If you want an auto I would go for the 2012 or newer. The 3.6 is still not a torque monster for sure.

If you can afford a 2011 or newer you get the nicer interior and better soft top.
