G GreyZJ93 0 May 15, 2012 #2 why a 3550? why not find a ax-15 and swap it in? I know when my tranny was fried, i looked a doing a 5 speed swap and ax-15's were alot cheaper and easier to find and apparently parts are more common to find if you need to fix it as well.
