What is the spacing of the front tow hook bolts on a TJ? Also, what is the bolt diameter? Thanks.

They are half inch bolts, not sure on the spacing.

If you don't get an answer by tomorrow night I think I know where my factory hooks are and can measure them.

[01tj]

Do they not mount on the two holes in the front bumper?

[matth_85]

They use the same holes as the bumper.

They use the same holes as the bumper.

Thats what I thought. I can measure mine tonight if no one else comes up with a measurement before then.

[GREASEMONKEY]

2.375"

[97TJGUZZY]

2.375"

That can't be right. I think its 1.375 or 1.5" just not sure which.

[GREASEMONKEY]

Reading wrong blue print
1.875

[GREASEMONKEY]

31.84 wide (center to center
1.375 #1-#2 (center to center
That's the FSM converted to standard.
