Ring and pinion swap info please

The lock right in the rear of my 96 chevy decided to blow up and take my axle shafts with it.... So I'm looking to upgrade to 5.13s and a better locker. Are there any shops y'all would recommend? Area is kinda flexible between Columbia, Greenwood, Aiken, or really anywhere within an hour to hour and a half of Saluda. Thanks y'all.

There's a few shops around. CFS in Columbia, Performance 4x4 in Leesville. But for parts, my brother has shafts, carrier, and locker out of his old truck for sale, so you'd just need to buy gears elsewhere.
 
What type of locker? The G80? I've heard way too many horror stories about them when they're used off road.

I think he had a lockright. It was all in a hunting truck, not a wheeler. Factory 10 bolt. I don't remember all the details but it was in an '88 and he upgraded to the higher spline count shafts from the later trucks. I'll tell him to check this thread.
 
Sounds good man thanks. The lock right was great until I got stuck in a place a 2wd never belonged and I heard it break.
