NC Trails and Camping July 26-28

Yeah, we camped up there for thanksgiving 2 years ago and it was great! There isn't much there, but its got shade, water, power, and its a high elevation so it gets some wind.
 
I'll need a few commits before we reserve that site. I checked over at Hotsprings campground, but there isnt much available that fits our needs. Also there are a few campgrounds open, one being the paint creek campground, but they have no power. Not sure if that matters to you guys.

I know Bill @jeepman1979 aid he would not be camping, so I want to hear what he thinks. He can find an airbnb nearby.
 
If I remember correctly this trip would be stock vehicle friendly correct? Regardless I can bring the JK with the camper or the TJ with a tent.

correct. we can drop campers off at the campsite friday night. Trail is stock vehicle friendly.
 
Hi All...we plan to stay at a cabin in Cashiers 4/26-4/28. 6593 State Rte 107, Cashiers, NC 28717. Any Tundra-friendly (35s, winch, 2.5" lift} trails in that part of NC?
 
There are a number of trails in the areas, nothing more than dirt roads really, but check out trailsoffroad.com to see them on a map.
 
anyone else planning on this one? i 'haven't booked anything yet. Ask around in the club or tell them to check this thread.
 
I am interested, if I am not in Hungary with the hubs. I'd airbnb. I am not getting the alerts in my gmail when new posts are here, or I'm mentioned, even though I have all of that turned on. :( Sorry I'm a bit late to the party!
 
Alright guys, I've booked the site. There is water and a porta john. There is a burger joint and restaurant near the location about 15 min away. Its pretty remote.

Still waiting to see if the boys will be with their dad during that time. If we have them I'll be going as a boys trip. If not Madi isn't comfortable camping just yet with the girls.
