Fork Lift

In the market for a very used, somewhat dependable fork lift for the shop. HAS to have larger pneumatic tires. Something older with a short mast would be ideal. Not looking to break the bank only looking to save my back....

Literally may be cheaper, easier, etc to buy a small tractor or skid steer and get a set of pallet forks for it......

No chance. Plus the tractor isn’t maneuverable in my shop…

I have not shopped tractors in some time...Just looked at marketplace... I stand Corrected... lol

can you get a used fork lift for that price? whats one of those capable of lifting? I know my small tractor can only lift like 1000 lbs.

Yeah you can usually buy a small one that will do 5k for 2-3k. The catch is the large pneumatic tires. I don’t want a large Rough terrain loader because it won’t maneuver in my shop but I have to be able to move in loose gravel.

We had a hard tire one in a gravel yard at an old job. That was fun...

Yeah you don’t get much use out of one. They just spin once you load them down…and then make stuff sketchy.
