I want some advice on what to use on a 1981 Scrambler hard top to recondition it. It is starting to wear thin in some spots on the top and I would like to recoat it with something before it weathers into the fiberglass. I thought of using a bedliner product to coat and reseal it. Will these products adhere to fiber glass and not peel off later on?

My Knee jerk reaction is take it to a Boat place have them gel coat it....

I have had really good luck with this duplicolor bed armor on my fender flares. I have seen people do similar bedliners on hardtops.

The Bed Armor is great. My tube fenders have been done for a few years now, as well as my hard top. It's not a rubbery coating, it's epoxy based. Kind of a hard shell coating. I have coated my bumpers and other projects in that stuff for a few years now. I've been very pleased.
