Brown Mountain OHV

Rented a cabin with my girlfriend this past weekend. Realized we were 5 minutes from the Brown Mountain OHV Trail System. Bought a day pass and had a blast rumbling up the 4 or 5 miles of rock and mud. Obstacles seemed more difficult the higher we went. There are unfortunately only 2 trails jeeps can get on.

We passed the entrance to Brown Mountain when we were out exploring during our Linville camping trip this summer. I had heard of it, but never knew where it was.

yeah, i've been up there a ton and never checked it out. I was always told it was just some gravel roads. Was there anything challenging?

Been a couple times. Nothing really challenging but a nice ride through the trees…

This was about as crazy as it got. But like I said, nice laid back ride through the trees.

Absolutely. Stock Jeep or the like should have no issues. Took a stock 5th gen 4Runner with all terrains up through it all.
