Looking to head up towards asheville this weekend probably to do some camping with the lady and the horse (henry) Do you have any suggestions for any places to camp as well as any hiking trails or something around that area? I was thinking pisgah was close by, but havent been in that area in awhile.
 
I would like to know this as well.... I found I can only stay at Linville gorge for 2 nights, so my friends and I need another place in Pisgah.
 
hey man just saw this post, Do you need to stay near Asheville, or can you go further south. There is a really awesome waterfall you can camp near and you could go almost all dirt from asheville to that point.

here is about 25 miles of dirt and you can camp off of 475B and at Point B on this map you can go see courthouse falls. Point A actually connects to the BRP but google maps doesnt think it does. I plan to make this trek later in august.
