You would not be able to leave the back window with the top completely off. Tonneau cover alone is ok. The top would not come completely off very easy because of the folding mechanism. But it was more important to me to have the enclosed back window. Back window section can come off easily or you can just unzip and lower the window. Its only been a couple days but so far i like it.
 
Sometimes, if you listen carefully, the Jeep will tell you what you need to up grade next. Last weekend at Uwharrie mine decided a tie rod should be next. I like the Rustys Off-road stuff so I went with their beefed up tie rod. 1.75 DOM .25 wall with bigger forged ends. The ends have a bigger "ball" inside the joint but the taper matches the JK.

It was fine. My steering wheel was crooked so my traction control was being stupid, even with it turned off. I centered the wheel and it was fine. The new tie rod with poly bushings on the ends tightened things up real nice.
 
Next bolt on mod/repair is an Evo manuel sway bay disconnect. The Rubicon Smartbar electronic disconnect quit on me. Apparently these things are not sealed well and water gets in and shorts out the electronics. A new Smartbar is about $1400. The Evo manuel disconect is $100 and is very simple in design and will surely never fail. It takes maybe 5 seconds to screw the knob in or out and can easily be reached behind the front bumper.

Did yours work when you purchased the jeep? I have been contemplating taking mine off and seeing if you can epoxy coat the board like we do to waterproof the RC electronics.

It did work. I went to Uwharrie last week and I though I was diconnected but i pulled the bolt out of the sway bar bushing. It worked the trip before but something happened between trips. It had to just be from the rain, I've never forded water that deep. I plan to take the smartbar apart myself, ill take some pictures.

Hard for me to say. I went from stock to Rusty's 3.25 lift shocks. Then 10 months later to these. Compaired to Rustys cheap white shocks these take bumps better yet controls body roll better too. At this point I'm happy with them.
