March 22-24 MCJ on the Georgia Traverse

So what’s the plan if leaving Thursday night doesn’t work for us. What time are y’all planning on leaving out Friday morning.

I see pics and videos of people camping and driving up to it, but I'm trying to get confirmation that we can legally before I post that. But yes, that was my plan. Either that, or the public camping field in Chatsworth.

Thats what i was wondering also. There looked to be a field that someone had been cutting up in on the right not far from the top that might work also.

I think flatlands will be the hardest part we see on this trip, but I think it is doable by our crew. Some of the pictures make it seem worse than it is when they tilt the camera.

How you know the camera is tilted that looks like it might give the campers a little makeover.

I rotated the photo so that the trees are vertical or close to it. There are full size trucks and 2019 tacomas that went up it in January with no body damage.

I have identified additional camping locations along the route where we could possibly camp if time doesnt allow us to make it to the desired locations. If we leave out at 8-9am Friday, that would probably put us at the public campsite around 6pm.
