I was reading an article about them the other day and that's pretty much what they said, good in theory but a slow dog that would get you from A to B. They are the perfect size I think for 2 ppl and a small kid.
I'd want to either swap in a 3rz/5vz with maybe a trd blower if the vibe was right or an OM617 for the crispy hippies in Asheville.

If a 3rd gen 4Runner can be rare, I’d say this one would fit that category or atleast from my seeings.
